Cadence

Terms of Use

Effective October 18, 2026 · Rogan Riley

These terms are between you and Rogan Riley (“Cadence”) for the Cadence personal planner. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Cadence.

The service

Cadence helps you plan a day, keep a journal, and track the habits you turn on. Features can change. Some AI features only run when the operator has connected a model, and they can be unavailable when a daily limit is reached.

Subscription

Free during early access. A paid plan of $4.99/month is coming. That plan will renew automatically each month until you cancel, and you will be able to cancel anytime online. Billing is not switched on, so creating an account does not charge a card. There is no checkout yet.

When subscriptions are turned on, the plan renews automatically each month at $4.99/month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime online. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and access continues through the period you already paid for. Billing will be processed by Stripe. Taxes may be added where required. The price can change for later renewal periods; the current price will be shown before a renewal at the new price.

$4.99/month, renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel anytime online. You are not charged during early access.

Accounts

You need an email and password. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping the password private. You must be at least 13 years old. One person per account. Do not share the account in a way that lets someone else read another person’s private entries.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Cadence. That includes trying to break or scan the service, bypass limits, access another person’s account, upload malware, use the service to harass anyone, or use it for unlawful activity. Do not submit personal information about someone else unless you have the right to. Cadence may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Your content

You keep what you write and log. You give Cadence permission to store and display that content back to you, and to send the parts needed for a feature you asked for (for example an AI plan or a push reminder). You can export or delete it from Settings.

AI output

AI replies, food estimates, supplement notes, and weekly reviews can be wrong, incomplete, or a poor fit. They are not medical, nutrition, mental-health, legal, or financial advice. Cadence does not promise a particular outcome from a plan. You review and approve changes before they are saved. Do not rely on AI output for health, safety, or money decisions.

Not medical advice

Cadence is not a medical device and does not provide medical care. Sleep, food, workout, and supplement features are personal notes and general information. Talk with a qualified clinician before changing diet, exercise, supplements, or treatment.

Disclaimers and liability

Cadence is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Cadence disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Cadence is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, except where the law does not allow that limit. Cadence’s total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Cadence in the three months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California are the venue for disputes, except where a consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
